Foundational poses with a focus on self-care; all are welcome.
Suggested donation $15 per class. (Please note, if this price is not affordable for you, we still strongly encourage you to attend. You may donate what you are able before class privately, via an iPad with credit card or cash).
This series, leading up to the holidays, is designed for the beginner student or those seeking a gentle, full body stretch with an emphasis on relaxation techniques, stress-relieving strategies, and self-care. Basic yoga postures and alignments will be introduced with modifications available. This class will also focus on connecting the breath with movement.
SESSION I: Staying Connected to Love and Support
SESSION II: Taking Inventory and Making Space
SESSION III: Finding Calm through Self-Acceptance
SESSION IV: Mindfulness and Creating a Peaceful Space
*What to bring: You may bring your own mats, blocks or bolsters, but there will be plenty of props available to borrow as well.
*What to wear: Please wear fitted clothing; avoid clothing that is too baggy or too tight.
