Meet Spencer Short, co-owner of Pumpkinvine Cyclery in Middlebury, Indiana. A Goshen College graduate and lifelong cyclist, he has led the shop since 2011, providing quality service, rentals, and gear. He runs the business alongside his wife, Brittany, who co-owns the shop and contributes to developing trail infrastructure through her work with the Friends of the Pumpkinvine. Together, they are dedicated to supporting the local cycling community while raising their two children and two dogs. Whether in the shop or on the trails, Spencer is passionate about making cycling accessible and enjoyable for all.

I’m Kristian! I have been in the industry for nearly fifteen years, and have been riding since I found out it beats walking as a kid. I’m certified by Bosch and Shimano, and I look forward to helping you improve and enjoy your cycling experience! When not servicing your bicycle, you can catch me hiking with my dog, in last place at cyclocross races, and enjoying singletrack from here to Grand Rapids.

Hi, I'm Max! I started out mountain biking when I was 11 years old and have been branching out to other disciplines ever since. I've tried BMX, Trials, and dirt jumping, but find myself on a gravel bike most often. I've been in the industry since 2021, working as both a service technician and as a salesperson. On days off the bike, you can find me outside in the woods, most likely going for a hike or fly fishing... If asked about it, I might talk your ear off. So keep that in mind when you stop in for a tasty, new bike!

When I’m not wrenching or riding, you’ll catch me climbing rocks, flowing on my yoga mat, or chasing the fresh air with my partner, daughter, and our two trail-loving pups.

I’m Eddie! I’ve been in the cycling industry since 2019. but my love for bikes started long before that - with BMX. These days, you’ll find me ripping though trails on a mountain bike or exploring gravel roads on two wheels.
Beyond cycling, I’m always up for adventure! I’m passionate about rock climbing, paddleboarding, and spending time on the lake. When not outdoors, I’m enjoying my time with my wife, daughter, and two dogs.

Ahoy! My name is Chris Webster. At 19, I got a random call from a friend about going on a bike tour through Kansas and Missouri. I went and was instantly addicted to venturing by bike and exploring anywhere I could by bike. Fast forward a little over a decade - my wife Gina and I had our daughter Mabel, who cleared 500 miles in her bike trailer before she was two years old. We purchased a farm (I am not a farmer) where we raise horses, grow hot peppers, and enjoy fishing our stocked pond. I settled into the industry with a passion for getting my local community stoked about loading bikes out with gear, bags, and venturing by bikes.
